...loved by my human, the creator of this site.
In this photo I'm living up to my nickname Barfy by spitting out a lentil. Once I ruined my human's "Rats Make Good Pets" presentation by spitting a ball of fish down her blouse. I'd been chewing it for 20 minutes so the ball was mostly just spit, but my human freaked anyway while the kids laughed and shrieked.
We had an exciting life. Our human took our cage to the jacuzzi every day where we sat and ate BBQ. But we preferred to swim to our own personal boat --it had peanut butter and froot loops in it. Since ratten-hood we rode Phoebe around the house, our roommate's Basset hound. Though I'm a better climber, my brother Moe was more daring and jumped right up. Our human's friends from mom's work came over a lot to swim and play with us before we moved, and talk to our Amazon parrots. We traveled and stayed in a lot of hotels.

My human said I was always the good one, while my brother was naughty. He used to unlatch the door and sneak out the cage, but I never left. I crossed the Bridge in 2015 at 2 years old. I'm now in Ratopia waiting for Moe, who isn't feeling well since his 3rd birthday last week. I come to the Path every day to look for him, and to show newcomers the way. My human sent me to the Bridge with her iPad and told me to write often --so feel free to check out the pictures of my new home RATOPIA ...and just click on my tiny photo to return to this site.
